Welcome to this free ‘Introduction to the third sector' course. This is a co-produced course that has been developed with the help of academics, third sector practitioners, other related professionals and past and current students who have engaged with the sector in some shape or form, and who have been kind enough to share their experiences from engaging with the sector.

If you have landed on this page, our assumption is that you have some interest to find out more about the sector, and that you come with no, or very little, prior knowledge of the sector. If you know much more about the sector, you might be a bit more selective in terms of the content you wish to cover. Otherwise, just follow the content in the order it is presented.

 

You should be able to complete the course in approximately 5 hours.
